4/14/09 03:38 pm - It's called a mobile

I've been doing some merch table preparations for our upcoming tour with Forgive Durden and Anarbor. I bought a mobile, what do you think?

I'm really looking for this tour. It's basically the biggest thing we've been a part of so far. I hope you are all out there buying your tickets and making arrangements to get to the show early. I met Anarbor a few weeks ago in Columbus, Ohio and they are killer folks. Free your mind and shit....

Anyway, i was just excited about this and i thought i would share it with you. Also, go listen to the new camera obscura record over on npr's website. It's incredible. After that go download our cd on i-tunes. Go get 'em tiger!!!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and this month Alternative Press asked a bunch of band's what their favorite music to, as Bob Eubanks would say, "Make whoopee to" was. We are one of those bands. Check it out HERE. Thanks Y'all and have a great Thursday!

1/18/09 02:24 pm - My First Polar Bear Plunge

I am very proud to announce that i've just signed up for the 13th annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge. It's something i've always wanted to do and it's not going to sneak by me this year. If you're from Maryland you have probably heard about The Polar Bear Plunge but for those of you who haven't or you live elsewhere, here's a little information on the event:

Experience the 2009 Polar Bear Plunge and you’ll be exposed to aspectacle like no other! For just $50 in pledges, Plunge participantstake a quick dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for SpecialOlympics Maryland, the state’s largest year-round organization devotedto sports training and competition for children and adults withintellectual disabilities.

The best part about this event is it's all for a good cause. I've donated some of my own funds to the cause, but i'm hoping to raise as much money as possible. You can donate online through my Polar Bear Plunge Page. I'm excited as hell about the possibility of catching pneumonia for charity. Again, if you're interested in donating visit my page. If you'd like more information about the event, feel free to visit The Official Polar Bear Plunge Website.

1/8/09 07:36 pm - i'm so used to lying, i tell the truth for fun

Well that was certainly an interesting end of the year. We drove from California to Chicago. It took something like 38 hours. We basically drove the whole thing in one trip after having the roads closed on us one night after driving for 4 hours.  This tour ended up just barely getting us home after all of our van troubles and cancelled shows. So much went wrong, but so much went right.
Anyway, it's the new year and we've had about two weeks off. Soon enough, we're going get together again and start writing for the rest of the winter. I am going to pick up some hours at a temp agency to make some money. Writing is going to be alot of fun. No stress. I still have some footage from recording and the rest of the year i'm going to throw onto the internet soon. Maybe i will do that tonight. Back to fun on monday.
